About

Dysport injections are designed to work on dynamic wrinkles that form when you use facial expressions. The repeat pressure from facial expressions causes a pinching that the skin cannot resist due to changes that occur as you get older. Dysport® contains botulinum toxin that works temporarily on the muscles to give the skin time to relax and reduce wrinkles.

Procedure

Dysport® fillers work by introducing a substance into the facial muscles to soften lines and wrinkles. Several injections are needed for each type of wrinkle. Forehead wrinkles and frown lines may require up to five injection points per area. Crow’s feet may require up to three injection sites. The distribution of Dysport® ensures a consistent wrinkle-reducing result.

Recovery

As with any type of injection, Dysport® injections may trigger an inflammatory response in your skin. Symptoms may include swelling, tenderness and bruising, and the symptoms are localized around each injection site. The symptoms typically last only one to two days and are very subtle.
