You do not need to be under general anesthesia for your Bodytite® procedure. We provide some medication that allows you to relax and many patients nap during the process.

We will make an entry point about half the size of a pencil eraser. Fluid that contains numbing medicine is inserted through this tiny opening. The BodyTite® device is designed with two probes that emit radiofrequency energy. The first probe stays outside the skin, and the second is inserted into the subcutaneous layer, under the skin.

Care is taken to place the inner probe into the connective support layer. The device then precisely places energy into the skin to reorganize and tighten collagen fibers. This is performed in a grid-like pattern across the treatment area to ensure all sections of skin are uniformly tightened.
