RF Skin Resurfacing
RF skin resurfacing is a non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment that combines the collagen benefits of microneedling and the tissue remolding of fractional lasers. This combination is proven to produce exceptional results for common skin concerns.
If you have read Matrix RF™ skin resurfacing reviews, you may know about the benefits of this treatment. Dr. Baker offers RF skin resurfacing with the Morpheus8 system that provides better results compared to Matrix RF™, including the reduction of deep wrinkles and scars.
Procedure
Dr. Baker recommends up to three treatments with Morpheus8, and each treatment may take up to one hour. We numb your skin before the procedure. The device is placed on the treatment area, and we deliver the combination microneedling and RF energy very quickly. The device is then moved to the next section of the treatment area. This process is repeated until the entire area has been treated.
Candidates
The best candidates for RF fractional skin resurfacing are men and women with:
- Skin laxity
- Acne scars
- Uneven pigmentation
- Wrinkles
Recovery
The results that you see in RF skin resurfacing before and after pictures is typically three days after the treatment. Immediately after the treatment, you may have some minor discomfort, swelling, and redness.
Results
Morpheus8 remodels the skin with collagen and elastin, and your body will continue to break down these substances as part of the natural aging process. How long this takes varies by patient. Some patients only need Morpheus8 RF skin resurfacing every one to two years.
